How wonderful to find this online, and to see comments from Nick's relatives too. What a delightful album "Bullet Proof Boy" was - really deserved (and deserves) to be much more widely known than it is.

Hi Lola, I was there when he wrote some of those songs. I've still got the early demos we recorded.

This is one of the best albums of all time. I saw your dad in The Fixx in Glasgow in 1990 and you could see he had such talent and presence. It was one of the first CD's I bought (because everything was on vinyl before!). I still have it and was playing it this morning. Would be great if he is able to put some stuff on youtube. So nice to find this - sound like Day-V Lately! :-)

@LolaMeganRobertson ...listening to this brings back memories from childhood, of listening to Nicky practice in his bedroom as we played in the street out front. Tell your Dad I said Hi, if he remembers me...if he doesn't...my Mum Carol used to clean for him when he was recording this album, before he moved to London and i used to babysit for your your Auntie Helen and Uncle Stevie ;)

Very, VERY talented artist, such a shame he didn't get the breaks he deserved. Still remember listening to him practising in his bedroom when i was a kid living next door. Remember me Nick? Ricky.
