normal is boring...

Well said, Itchy :-)

ADD/ADHD is overdiagnosed, even the psychological community recognises this.

That's not what normal people are like just Americans. It's a braindead culture.
You should go to Canada and get a diagnosis from a real doctor who doesn't have a financial interest in prescribing you medicine. Hawkins isn't mentally handicapped.

Speaking of ADD and such (I was diagnosed many moons ago) what's your opinion on so called adult ADD/ADHD? My poor attention span has been affecting my work and I've been considering meds. I admit to my ignorance of the field, and asking a doc is worthless because their answer is the same, "take pills! take pills! BUY BUY BUY!"

@Nagneto though my ADD can interfere a lot of the time - I manage it just fine without medications. The trick to it is to monitor how it affects your life and control it. For instance, rather than letting it hinder my focus, I utilize it. Now, I've learned how to utilize it for my benefit. Being aware of my short attention span, I use it to retain lots of information at once. At times, it feels like there isn't a filter on my brain. I tend to remember everything I see/do in a day.
