@wutehvah- your arguing with yourself. i think you had to many puffs on the magic dragon

This was perhaps the best concert I've ever seen. Non-stop jammin' from start to end.

Respond to this video... BTW, 1983+ sorry, they were fading for the most part.

@wutehvah What comment were you responding to...? You seem to be the only angry responder here...We all are so grateful for the magic whenever and wherever we could get it!

All of these years later, perhaps my best video(3/27/88). Read about this, and more in "Pulling My Leg: Twenty-five Years of Bootleg Video."

@brigcutter - that sounds great - but there were eras where they were sharper and crisper than others - Yes it was ALL good but for my money they were the best in 89-90 - IMO - That was the best incarnation of the grateful dead

The Best Time Period for the Grateful Dead was 1965 - 1995.. Everyone has their own favorite time within that, correct? There were good nights and bad nights just about every year. Some mmore than others. Enjoy that we all experienced some of the best live music that will ever be played! :) Hands Down. When they were on, it was magical, regardless of what year! This was certainly an on night!

I love it when "hippies" show their true colors. You sound quite honestly like an angry, miserable, snob. I have loved the music of the Dead the majority of my life, I have always truly despised the hardcore Deadheads. I always found that the"Loony" part of the fans really made the experience mostly about them self. The self focus, vanity, and conceit I saw in much of the Deadhead culture was in stark contrast to the music. It's just good music , stop being such a prick please.
