BINGO! this is a 13th c motet, "domino fidelium/DOMINO," converted from an earlier clausula on "benedicamus domino" (it's also on the album "Motetus" by the Clemencic Consort)
...and for the true wonks: it's example 28f in the Historical Anthology of Music
