Slightly lower action
New set of 12-54 guage d'addario
Also used GT8 compression going in the amp this time, to bring out soft spots.

Great playing but I never liked the srv version of this song. It sounds to jazzy, lost alot of the natural beauty of the original.

@JASONCALEDONIA Hey, thanks man. Heheh - to each his own. Jazz - is my favorite style. SRV definitely had some of that in his influence, sometimes mentioning Kenny Burrell. Lenny and Riviera Paradise are both very smooth, and mellow also.

Dude, this is just fantastic and awesome guitar playing--this is an incredibly difficult but subtle song-- the little details you pick up on, the overall tone, the timing-- all just fantastic-- would like to see you play live for sure. -and this video, is just very satisfying to watch as you lay it down just like Stevie did in plain sight. @Flatted357 Thank you very much. I learned this song a very long time ago (8 years ago), and this is THE song which got me obsessed about the guitar. So I really put a lot of effort into lifting this by ear. I could not find an accurate tab. I think some of the licks are not what he's doing, but i tried to get it as close based on what I heard :) Thanks for listening. Keep in touch. I plan on doing some videos soon, and make it a regular thing.
