Numbers twenty-three through twenty-eight are an entirely different type of video for me - these are recordings of my "Toons on Film: Making Movies in CITY OF HEROES/VILLAINS" panel as presented at HeroCon 2008. (For those who were at the 'con, this is the 3pm presentation - I chose this one because a) the videotape got screwed up during the 1pm session, and b) the projector also spazzed out during the 1pm session.)

This video is six parts long - this segment is Part IV: Putting It All Together. Two videos are shown during this presentation - one was the "Time to Start" video, the other was the "Value of PWNage" video. You can find these on my YouTube channel.

Part I (Introduction) - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jTHir4-aXp4
Part II (How'd She Do That?) - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M0_ET-Uyh5U
Part III (The Art of Demoediting) - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mg_DGcQKN3E
Part IV (Putting It All Together) - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nonqLeMKyAw
Part V (Wrapping It Up) - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=77bu4N1bLYY
Part VI (Last Minute Stuff) - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H_T_ihO7GYA

I apologize in advance - because I kept moving around, and because I didn't want to block the screen, there are parts where you either cannot see ME, or you cannot see the SCREEN. Sorry!

Like my other videos, this one is tagged as Samuraiko Productions, for those who follow my work. Enjoy! • ITF in 29 mins is impressive but today i was part of a 29 min Hami raid! =D

  • The record on a Hami raid is seven minutes. It's on the forums, in the Virtue section.

  • So once you have the code in notebook, how do you view the video?

  • My preferred method for playback is Zloth's Demo Launcher (search on Google). It's a simple program that you can tell it to remove the UI and all that so it plays back clean.

  • what is the youtube of the person who codes from scratch?

(not like i would but interesting to watch lol)

  • Search for 'Nightshift SG Daylight'. You'll find it.

  • The address has changed - if you go to the CoX forums and look up Zloth's profile, the new link is in his signature if memory serves.

  • Looks like Zloth's Demo playback/editor site is down... Is there a way you could e-mail me a copy of it?

  • If you go to the Multimedia>Toons on Film page on my website, the PDF is available for download in the upper righthand corner of the page.

  • oh and I forgot to ask... When are you putting the sheet you handed out at your workshop on your website? I would like to check out the sites you mentioned and begin working on some demo files...
