I just love the drums in the stethoscope gag! ...And Barbara's jammin' to them!

I always like it when Jeannie became small!

  • Huh? But Col Dr Bellows was a psychologist, not a physician!

  • He was their psychiatrist!

  • first i'll make sure this is working properly! lol!

  • That pulmonary machine going fully erect is funny but that bell they ring when it gets to the top just sends that gag over top!

  • Good choice, Greg. Did you like Dr. Bellows' wife? For some reason, I always liked it when she was on, like a dash of vinegar in all the sweetness, a Mrs. Robinson type, no?

  • Oh, love her! She was way older that she appeared! Emmaline Henry was born in '28!

    I like her a lot.

  • @SalaireDeLaPeur I love the episode where the Bellows drink that wine and they disappear and Tony & JEannie have a hard time finding where they are. That episode is so hilarious.

  • Colonel Alfred Bellows was supposed to be "chief medical officer" at Cape Kennedy, functioning as both psychiatrist and medical examiner (conducting physical examinations). In later years, the stories concentrated more on his psychiatric observations {"It's a shame I'm not going to be around to find out what makes you tick. Next to me, you're probably the most interesting psychiatric case I've ever come across....sometimes, I think I'm losing my mind"- "The Greatest Invention In the World"}.

  • I like that kind of stethoscope

  • This was from the first episode where Jeannie appeared in an "oversized" setting [10/30/65]; producer/writer Sidney Sheldon remembered this effect in his second season episodes, where he had her peeking out of pencil canisters, stranded in a desk drawer, and kicking "big" sugar cubes into a spaghetti pot from a kitchen shelf...the second season also introduced "Amanda Bellows", who was more suspicious of Major Nelson at times than her husband was, and just as funny as him!

  • This show was perfectly cast! I love all the characters!!! She's perfect for Dr. Bellows!
