Ridiculous Championship Cross Country Skiing Fail

There are two ways you can look at a disastrous performance like this. On the one hand, this is the worst sports disaster since the WNBA. On the other hand, it's cross-country skiing so no one cares.

@carboncreatures i actually was a member of his team... one of our wax techs extended his kick zone by a few inches on one foot... it wore off on the first hill and apparently the rest of the race was great for him

@farmboyjad Being from the venue this actually happened on, i say too sticky of wax on fresh snow. his pocket was compressed enough that the fresh snow in the track (which is probably really soft too) and the wax stuck...poor kid though, at least he had good kick though
