  • I think it's a shame that the Amish teenagers maybe feel this is representative of the youth of the UK as a whole. I'm in my 20s and live in central Scotland and probably have more in common with the Amish than I do with my peers. I don't like alcohol and I hate how people degrade themselves while drunk. I love being outdoors and appreciate nature. Does that make me boring? Probably. Do I care? No. I'd quite happily spend time with the Amish than vomit over myself in a nightclub.

  • I can't help but envy them their peace with such a simple life. they seem so happy unlike us with our technology and constant rat race. I bet they don't have crazy crimes etc.

  • Does anyone know what part of the US do these Amish kids come from? I'm from the UK as well and would love to meet them. Good thing they didn't go anywhere near Liverpool. I also feel ashamed that they think most of the youth in the UK act like this because I don't and I am sure plenty don't as well.

  • I'd rather sit with a beautiful girl in the evening and talk to her in a farmhouse, rather than getting drunk and some slut trying to seduce me :L

  • lol

  • @SpyderRyder3600 I agree. I'm a new student at uni and spent last semester constantly in clubs and it all got a bit boring after a while. I don't know why people see that as as socialising if you can't even hear people talking. I prefer quiet drinks in bars tbh. Clubs are just tacky nonsense and a date rape waiting to happen if you ask me.

  • @Azlak0507 I agree to be honest. I will not lie I do like drinking and going out to clubs but it gets a bit tedious after a while when all you see is arrogant wankers making assholes hout of themselves in public. I'm one of those people who could go out a drink a ton and still be bored and wishing I was at home watching tv or something.

  • Dating is for the weak.
