The man is not mocking religion or attacking America, but is connecting with people in one of the most familiar forms possible, as a means to convey a serious & urgent message to American Citizens. He should be praised, not vilified for urging people to be conscious of how & where they spend their money, & to not be mindless, consuming Sheeple! If we do not change our ways of conspicuous consumption, it will ultimately be our downfall. That is all he is trying to express & people should listen!

Can't really blame us, we're just the most notable present example of a society infected with the disease that goes back to rome. The romans used the myth of "civilization" to justify their theft of resources from surrounding neighbors. They went to Europe and raped, pillaged, and wiped out the "barbarian" culture. Now the Europeans act the same way towards all the "third world" countries that we exploit for resources and labor.

THe people of the US should have heard this exortation years ago, before they went down the road of gas guzzling care, big screen TV's, and so forth. We wouldn't be in this energy crisis, fiscal crisis now. WE would not have been a country in rapid decline
