I would say you pronounced seven slightly wrong. It's not so much a hard "L" (ḷ ) as it is a retroflex approximant or 'ɻ',. In Tamil the hard l is designated by ள், and the consonantal sound in 7 is "zh" or ழ். So it would be pronounced 'Ezhu' rather than "YeLu". Thanks.

@agathithamilan -
This video tutorial series is on Conversational Tamil. It is meant to teach simple spoken simple Tamil and is not about learning to read/write/pronounce Tamil as in Text books.
This is referenced in the first introductory video of the series.

I accidentally deleted a comment while replying to it. Here's the original comment:
@agathithamilan - this is not standard tamil pronounciation,this is the spoken language in most part of tamilnadu india.standard tamil is so called written tamil.that`s why it seems like malayalam.1-onru,2-irandu,3-moonru,4-naanku,5-einthu,7-ealu,8-eddu, 9-onbathu.

Yes, both mani and neram mean time, it just depends on the context in which you use it.
The only instance you use 'mani' to describe time is when you want to say "'0 clock'" (eg: it's 1'0 clock is Oru mani aachu). Otherwise you can use neram.
