  • I found your video when looking for an old one of ours and it brought back fond memories, and I wanted to tell you that your boat project is very nice. It reminded me of the days some thirty years ago when I started gas model boating in the same manor. It's all about fun and the reward of the time spent designing and building, and these days we seemed to have lost that, so I thought it was fitting to compliment you.

  • @whobbies

Thanks for good comment, this video was a "bad" round with the boat.

Did not get full throttle on it.

Now i have changed the exhost to a 44cc engine, and adusted the carb.

So now i get more speed :)

Did not get any video this year of the boat i action, but will get one next season.

Was on your website and looked, you have a lot of good products.

  • what servo are you using?

  • @daduece2144

I'm just using a low cost servo, but not use the MG-995 servo. This servo is bad...

It must be a servo that can handle 10 - 15 kg

  • Hi i already finish my boat it have a 30cc engine it works realy good but i have a problem the nose is realy up and if i hit the gas the boat jumps and i am sker to it flip over how can i fix this? please helpme, im going to upload one video tomorrow so you can see mi boat.

    Thanks

  • I think there is a problem about the weight and propshaft. If you have the propshaft faceing up, this will happend. If you have the prop stright or a little down the boat will drive better.

Else this looks like a fun boat to drive :)

    Sorry for the late replay

  • Lol sounds like some ones whipper snippen

  • That's a good HOMEMADE boat

  • thats cool sounds like it could use some tuning

  • I draw the boat, printed the plan in 1:1, build a "plug" to create the mould in fiberglas.

Then i made the boat in fiberglas (have made 3 more after this)

The top of boat is made of plywood, coated with hardtop and paint.

  • I haven't moved the engine jet, but i think to mount a electric start in the boat. and have the battery and starter in front. So i hope this will solve the problem about weight.
