I know that coins can get into the washer but how the hell can it get in underneath the dryer?

The coins slip out of the drum at the rear or front gasket. The lint accumulation is NOT unusual. The door springs don't help close it, they counterbalance the weight when the door is open.

@DADoESofTX I had meant to say that about the door later in the video, but it had slipped my mind. Yeah, the lint certainly wasn't unusual, but it just goes to show that we let it go like that for way too long.

@somestuff2day No need to be afraid, as long as you connect everything properly and seal the joints, it will be fine. This dryer has been in use for (almost) 21 years without incident ;)

@stanjamv1 Nice try, before I started recording this video I had moved the fuzz off and moved all the coins around to see how many were there and check out anything else that could be there,which is why the looked how they did.
