What did I do RIGHT?? (A "good hair day" dilemma...)

I have no idea why my hair turned out so good! (in my opinion) This video was at the end of the day, so it had already begun to frizz a little in areas.

Here's what i did differently*:
1. an avocado hair mask (see my naptural85 contest video for recipe link)
2. cantu shea butter grow strong strengthening treatment as leave-in/styler
3. kinky curly on t-shirt dried hair as a gel

* i also did 8 flat twists instead of 6, which i KNOW i like better. at least that's one thing i know for sure!

Has this ever happened to you? you try so many new things at once that you don't know which one or what combination lead to your results? What do YOU think contributed to my good hair day?
