IABC-LA presented "Maximum Awareness, Minimal Effort" by Shel Holtz on Thursday, November 17, 2011 at Avery Dennison headquarters in Pasadena. Holtz is an expert in communications, social media and technology and was superbly engaging in sharing "What's the least we need to stay in touch, remain marketable and keep up-to-date?" By focusing on the latest trends and the issue of who really has the time to use all the social media and tech tools, Shel provided his expertise, examples and latest do's and don'ts to over 20 IABC members to create maximum awareness using minimal effort within the current media and tech climate. IABC-LA Member Christopher Swan of Avery Dennison provided the cool early 60's building venue as well as some insightful wrap-up commentary. IABC-LA President Paula Cassin welcomed Holtz and past chapter presidents for this very substantive professional learning event.
