@PlatypusVomit he did a great job on this as well as all the others-there's a great dvd of theirs with augeri, live in 2001, a show in vegas-they opened with this one!

This is the only live performance I've heard of this with Augeri, but I'm liking him a lot more than Arnel. Arnel is sloppy, and at least in this recording Augeri was not too sloppy with his vocals. I still miss Steve Perry, tho.

This guy sounds like a wounded elk. Do you want to hear somebody sing Faithfully in their own awesome style. On you tube do a search for Keith Carmichael / Faithfully and give it a listen. You will be glad that you did. Be sure to spread the word to your friends.

i watched the last concert video of the Journey with augeri & the man really was trying to sing his best but it's just messed up due to this throat infection. I feel sorry for augeri it seems like he has no right to say NO to this band whatever condition he was into he just have to sing. I wonder how they feel after that shameful experience.

augeri had to leave because of a severe throat infection.nothing that rest couldnt have solved.you cant tour nonstop without a break!i love journey but neil should have let augeri rest a year.they lost a good man!!!

I agree. That's actually why he left. Augeri was never supposed to replace Perry. Schon and Cain tried to force him in and Perry out. He's too nice (and smart) a guy to do that, so he waved gently from the window seat of his plane.
Jeff Scott Soto told them to kiss him where he couldn't.
