my Dear, you were born precisely at the correct time, suitable for realizing your soul purpose, and you are perfect as you are, but of course you know this. --That you recognize the brilliance of this slightly dis-harmonic masterpiece shows your eccentric sensitivity. Go make mischief and be unashamed! I give you permission.

what does time have to do with music? Great music has always been around and will always continue to exist if you know were to look. It will always transcend time. That is the mark of great artwork of any kind.

See where you're coming from but you might as well say you were born in the wrong country (Unless You're Icelandic yourself). Sigur Ros are a top band and are arguably in their prime right now. Bjork isn't exactly dead either. In any case so long there's variety in this big world of ours there will always be good music; it's just a question of whether it will appeal to the masses.
