  • @FlashHawk4 Yeah! Haha!! Problem solved!!

  • Script writers and directors like to tell "contrasts" of character in a fight (e.g. young/old, strong+slow/fast+weak, brute/technical), It took so long for movies just to stop with the Hero-never-runs-out-of-bullets & kills-henchman-shooting-while-in-the-open-but-can't-hit-his-nemesis-with-aimed-shots kind of deal.

  • @uvaltito kendo isnt martial arts, this is, kendo has rules and LOTS of protective gear because its a sport, longsword doesnt because it isnt. seriously as a person who actually DOES WMA these guys are 100% right

  • i know exactly whats going on here dear friend listen a sword is a sword allover the world. OH BY THE WAY tell your demonstrator that it is not wise to use only arms strength to push and poop hit your opponents head. i see "FORM" friend, the basic principals of all successful battle motion.

  • @uvaltito the whole purpose of ARMA is for Western Martial Arts, not Eastern fighting. The fact that you mentioned Kendo just proves you don't know what is going on here.

  • @uvaltito Cool story bro.

  • Honestly, I don't even understand how choreographers can even think to implement half of the stuff they implement into movie scenes. Besides, real sword fighting is much cooler anyway, whether you're doing or watching. My sparring partner was apart of a guild and he said that spectators who watch them at Renaissance Fairs would be very impressed. We're looking to get a guild started where we are now.

  • First of all its a movie, its suppose to be entertaining. When the swords clash and they stay like that it is telling the viewers that they are equally as powerful.

  • this is not totally true i am a swordsman and you can not just lever your way into the opponents space if he know how to keep his sword in from of himself and you. your information is not accurate. try to visit a kendo dojo and you will understand more.

  • @Jetman123 Its almost impossible to push some over with strenghth. Technique and speed of strength
