I prefer Claudio Abbado's version, from the mid1990's, it was lighter, faster and had more energy (It was here on YouTube once, but I think it's been removed). He also mingled it with a little William Tell ouverture, a little Aida and stuff, really charming. And it rained!

I have just discovered the music of Paul Lincke and I absolutely adore it....It simply brims with joy and exhuberance.....The Folies Bergere March is one of the best marches and would make John Philip Sousa and Kenneth Alford proud.
