all that any one ever does is a hail call. it depends on where your hunting, if your hunting in timber you wont use that call, but if your hunting a corn field you just might.

where im at in sw louisiana calling flares birds
because we are mostly killing pintail and teal and those birds have been hearing calls all the way from canada and they associate calling with being shot at . that is what i have seen them do
but the do respond to a hail call deadattic

actually duckbusterjohn you dont know what your talking about, your prolly some dumbass yankee who knows nothin about waterfowl. You dont call loud first off in flooded timber. That right there shows how much you know. So if your a duck hunter dont hail call in the woods, because all ducks do in the woods are single quacks and short notes....good try though dumbass

You know what you make a great point about the hail call and it is useful in the field but why dont you consider changing your name on here all that name sounds like is that you are a stupid ignorant hillbilly who just wants to kill not hunt and that is very disrespecting to the game you hunt. Good thing people like me are involved in organizations like DU, and NWTF so that a dumbass like you can have animals to slay...
