Samus's Moves - History Behind Super Smash Bros. Melee

In this video I show where I believe some of Samus's moves in Super Smash Bros. Melee have been derived from. I show the original and then how it was translated into SSBM. I put text in some parts of the video to explain some things that people may not know if they're not familiar with the Metroid series. I acquired the Metroid and Super Metroid video from emulators and the SSBM video with my capture device.

my friends at school (elementary) are day care had a n64 and (for some reason) 2 super smash bros. cartages and we all thought samus was a guy (until metroid fusion when i showed my friends the death scene)

Also her armor in Melee is the (Varias?) suit and not the original Chozo.

The easiest way to see the difference is to compare her Classic and Smash trophies.

@XKat20 The Missiles launched if you press B after tapping Left/Right ire hinting at the Supper Missile. The "Homing" Missile is the regular missile. In order to compensate on its weak power, it was given a homing ability
