@stiffmyster157 Which I am not. Everything they do on ice is also done on roller skates, although I'm not sure if roller skaters are doing quad jumps yet (although it would not surprise me to find out that they are!). The point is that as long as "Ice" is in the Olympics. "Roller" should be there, too, albeit in the Summer Games instead of the Winter games. The IOC has continued to shaft the world of roller skating for far too long!

Sorry to inform you, but that is NOT what we call Roller Skate Dancing. REAL roller dancing consists of Waltzes, Tangoes, Blues, Marches, etc etc. Most are what we call "set-pattern" dances, where certain steps are done on specifics parts of the floor. These dances are done at the world-championship levels, and it's high time roller skating got into the Olympics. There is no valid reason to keep it out of the Olympics! But the stuff in this video is NOT the same thing. Sorry.

I'd know those moves anywhere.. That would be Lenny.. I skated with him, going way back to 1985 @ Spinoff's
I am down in Texas now, but I sure miss all the Boston Skaters and the Vous..
