  • Silly boy racers need to understand weight to power ratio before they knock the car. How come a Lotus Elise with a measly 190 BHP out of a 1.8 liter V4 is as fast (0-60 mph) as a Corvette Z06 with 405 BHP and almost as fast as a 500 BHP Viper ???? Because it weighs only 1973 lbs or 895 kgs . I agree that this car could use a little more oomph. If they could manage to fit a 1.4 or 1.5 with a small turbo without adding weight, this thing would be fun. They'd have to add a 6 speed manual too.

  • A supercharged, 160ish hp version of this car would be great. I'd love to see the comparisons between that and the 500 Abarth.

  • Scion is coming out with FT-86 that is going to be rear wheel drive and have a 6 speed manual transmission.. Should be here 1st part of 2012

  • @pacsum exactly! This is a small car, a lot of power isn't needed to move it along. I fail to understand why if a car doesn't come with the power of a racecar it automatically isn't worthy of it's intended use for commuting. Also this is being sold as a scion, someone will probably make a turbo kit for these eventually.

  • 90Hp on a 860kg car? more than enough.

Noobs need to learn about power/weight ratio.

  • what about 90HP ?

    most people can't hold that

    enough for this car

  • 90 HP LOL

  • I'll take a bike thanks.

  • 90 HP=Epic Fail, LOL Still cool looking

  • Pull out the ICE and drop in a 24kW Li-ion battery and then it might be worth buying.
