Once you've made them (See http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kWjg3zdEx3w), you now need to fry them :)

  • US and Canadian ducks are dumb , they make what you call "samosa" with apple and mango chutney. In arab countries , samosa is served on a plate of veggies and drenched in lemon (sometimes until it is chewy based on preference). Pakistanis and Indians use an "onion dip" with their very hot/spicy samosas.

  • @zighaiwan

We usually serve them with a homemade mint/coriander chutney or tamarind chuntney - and sometimes a store-bought chilli sauce, but I tend to avoid the latter due to the additives.

  • how long do you fry them for please and what type of oil do you use?

    many thanks, x

  • @kissmecakes

Hiya, I use vegetable oil and fry them for seconds (as in the video) until they're light golden brown.

  • where did u get the dough from what dose it called in usa ??

  • Hi, the ones that I use are a brand called 'Switz' samosa pads.

I'm afraid I'm not familiar with the brands available in the USA, but you should be able to get similar pastry sheets from any Pakistani/Indian/Chinese/Asian food store. Just ask for samosa pads/sheets.

    All the best!
