Scott Brown's Win, Our Responsibility

Scott Brown won--now what do we, as American citizens, have to do to ensure our freedom? It's not all up to Senator Brown. We have a lot of work to do, ourselves.

But, like you say... the responsibility does not end here. We must not be complacent! We must realize that the intent of a government takeover of our lives is to deprive us of the power of our vote.  Do not be so naive as to think that disarming us is NOT part of the agenda! If they can nullify the vote of Scott Brown they will. Scott has not succeeded until his vote results in the people being recognized and heard. Then I will unload my gun : )

The 2nd amendment is like a failsafe against tyranny. We SHOULD vote with a ballot and be able to change our government by going to the polls. But if ALL ELSE FAILS, that's why the founding fathers stuck the 2nd amendment in there. So we can protect ourselves in the event of complete tyranny. Luckily, as we saw in MA, we're not at that point because our constitutional republic WORKED! :D

All valid and important points! The bigger picture is that it is a power grab. They want us dependent on them to the point that our vote is a mere formality. When our vote is of no significance, what do we have to defend ourselves? That is why they want our guns too!
