President Gordon B Hinckley, his final testimony and last address given in the British Isles, (Preston, England). He passed away Sunday 27th Jan 2008. It seems as he becomes very emotional that he knew he'd never be able to return to these shores again, hear his final words fom this address given 25th May 2005.

  • @motleycrue24 anything which is offensive, negative or bad language doesn't make it. The nature of this testimony I put online to inspire so when I see any horrible comments I simply block/remove them. Some might say that hinders free speech, tough, such comments can be placed elswhere! If you see anything I've missed let me know. Thanks.

  • @bakersfieldmusicnow Listen again to what he says again from 0:45seconds...

"God our Eternal Father lives, I know that.... Jesus is the Christ, he is my Redeemer and I know that he lives, I know that..."

Surely we share the same common faith in a loving God...?

Joseph Smith, like Moses was a Prophet of God, an instuement in the hands of God, I'm reminded of Amos 3:7

"Surely the Lord God will do nothing, but revealeth his secret unto his servants the Prophets."

  • Okay i am 19 and am about to go on a LDS mission to Monterrey Mexico for the next 2 years of my life. ha I WOULD NOT leave my family, friends, girlfriend and spend my own earned money for something that is not true. I KNOW it is true with every part of me, like 14 million other people KNOW it true. I love president hinckley!

  • Being a member of the LDS church is being a member of the world's biggest extended family. President Hinckley was the prophet of God leading a 14 million + membered church and look how humble he is. He was like everyone's grandpa. It gave me goosebumps to watch this video.

  • What a amazing final by Pres. Hinckley. I love him and appreciate his testimony of the Lord Jesus Christ.

  • @johnlds1965 If Joseph Smith had written it fraudulently, why not just say Bethlehem? He and every school child of his time knew Christ was born in Bethlehem. If he were making the Book of Mormon up, why would he make such a terrible blunder, placing Christ's birth in Jerusalem? The use of the term "land of Jerusalem" is consistent with usage in the Dead Sea Scrolls (discovered 1947) too and can be viewed as powerful evidence for the authenticity of the Book of Mormon.

  • @Robert5p3 Alma 7:10 gives a prophecy that Christ would be born "at Jerusalem, which is the land of our forefathers." Here and in many other passages, Jerusalem is described as a land, not just a city. Bethlehem is a tiny suburb of Jerusalem, just 5 miles away from the heart of the city. Not only does Bethlehem properly fall within the "land of Jerusalem," making the Book of Mormon correct, but use of that term is surprising evidence of the authenticity of the Book of Mormon.

  • we shell keep the union flag flying

  • @ganixaba well what is he to do? I mean he just said he has a security man.

  • How could you not LOVE listening to this wonderful man. My Dad was not a memeber of the church, but even he always enjoyed listening to President Hinkley.
