unfortunately, I didn't inherit anything. A violin of his would have been very nice. He was reburied next to Strauss Sr in Vienna., they had remained friends. So if I ever get to Europe again I would like to visit there. My mothers grandmother was Christina Lanner, came to US 1880's I think.

This is a very nice waltz. Joseph Lanner was my mother's great great uncle. Strauss joined Lanner's quartet which expanded into a small orchestra, eventually separated, but remained friends.
