Kula World Like Work In Progress WIP 10

Upside Down is a 3D game project inspired by Kula World from Game Design.

In Upside Down, you are controlling a ball in a 3D level in order to collect bonus, and keys which open the exit door to the next level. You must avoid falling, spiked traps and to be desoriented !

Kula World is great.I am currently on level 162 i think and how i got past the ice one before with key was a bit of fluke.

Wish they'd brought out Kula World 2.

Would be an idea, but i think mixing all the source codes would not be possible at all.

What we could do is exchanging textures/models/skyboxes/sound­s

My first public alpha release of my remake is in near future. I'm currently working on a included level editor. Give me approx. a week and I hope I will get it released. I will inform you as soon as it is finished if you want.

I 've awaited the release of this remake for very long time, but this video is over one and a half year old.

Therefore I started my own version two weeks ago. You can see the progress at my video response.

There will be a lot to do until a playable release, but I keep programming on it all my freetime :-)

There is no KULA WORLD 2,i contacted them direcly by email and the bloke who wrote it got back to me,saying SONY never sanctioned it so it never got written properly.

Bit of a shame i think,still..

I don't know if you're still working on this, but it looks very promising! I agree with Induna123 about the brick size though.

One thing I question is the jump distance: when you jumped over level ground, the ball went forward 2 spaces, but when you jumped down to a new level, it only went forward 1. Was this intentional?
