My 4 year old is demonstrating this drill.
Master this drill first and it will pay dividends for future drills.

This is a good drill for beginners to master. Being able to glide on two feet with a deep knee bend is the foundation of developing a long stride and the foundation for being able to do other drills such as C-cuts.

Young kids are taught to touch their toes. I'm okay with this as long as they bend their legs 90 degrees or more. Older kids should practice more of a hockey stance glide.

Keys to remember:
- Get the legs bent to at least 90 degrees.

- Should be able to do this comfortably at least from blue line to blue line.

My middle son is demonstrating this drill. Please see the following for more detailed information.
