From DirecTV's broadcast of Farm Aid 25: Growing Hope for America, Amos Lee performs "Street Corner Preacher" at Miller Park in Milwaukee on October 2, 2010. Farm Aid was started by Willie Nelson, Neil Young and John Mellencamp in 1985 to keep family farmers on the land and has worked since then to make sure everyone has access to good food from family farmers.

@boknashid81 I know exactly how you feel. i too saw him for the first time on farm aid and instantly became a fan. his music soothes my soul and makes me appreciate life, which couldn't have come at a better time. as i was searching for amos on youtube, I came across John Butler Trio. if you havn't heard of them you should check them out. they're somewhat of a modern day hippie. but their music has touched me in a way that no other band has. maybe it'll bring some light to your life

Amos Lee has a haunting voice that conveys the pain of life in such an earthy way. I have listened to this version of this song, stripped down a million times. Sometimes the truth is not pretty. It cuts to the soul. Thanks for this song. Farm Aid such a great message! I love my local farmers!!
