Q:How long did 99 Mining take?
A: 1 week.

Q:How long did 99 Smithing take?
A: 4 days.

Q: What did you mine to get 99 Mining?
A: Concentrated gold ores. (Need 80 Mining)

Q: Where can I mine the Concentrated gold ores?
A: You can mine them at Living Rock Caverns located at Dwarven Mine near the monastery/ice mountain in Edgeville. Alternatively, you can also mine Concentrated Coal (need 77 Mining) if you do not have the mining level to mine gold.

Q: What are the Mining Worlds for Living Rock Caverns?
A: W84 & W77

Q: What did you smelt to get 99 Smithing?
A: I smelt gold ores into bars while mining using the superheat spell (needs nature and fire runes/fire/lava staff) from 87-95 Smithing. From 95-99 Smithing, I made Addy platebodies using sc hammers.

Q: How long does a sc hammer last when making addy platebodies?
A: Around 54K Xp.

Q: How much did it cost u when making Addy platebodies from 95-99 Smithing?
A: 110M (around 50m+ loss)

Here are some tips when training Mining:
-Wield fire/lava staff when mining so that you can superheat and leave the nature runes in inventory.
-Wear Goldsmith Gauntlets when smelting gold ores into bars as you get more XP.
-Mining while smelting will allow you to train 3 skills at once and you will get Magic xp, Smith xp and Mining xp in return.
-Wear Varrock armour when mining as it can mine 2 ores at once.
-Use a Dragon Pickaxe when mining as it mines 15% faster. (Note: Using SC pickaxe is not really worth it)
-You can also use the penance horn which gives double xp when mining but have to recharge when its out of charge
-Summon lava titans (83 Summoning needed) or Obsidian golem (73 Summoning needed) to boost mining. Alternatively, you can also summon Pack Yak (96 Summoning needed) or War Tortoise (67 Summoning needed) to store more ores.
-Wear some combat armour for more Defence as there will be monsters down there.

Here are some tips when training Smithing:
-Wear Goldsmith Gauntlets when smelting gold ores into bars as you get more XP.
-You can smelt gold ores into gold bars at 2 places (which I think are good)
-Best place would be to smelt at Edgeville wearing varrock armour which can smelt 2 ores at once. However, when banking you need to right click and might be a bit difficult to click on the furnace but should not be a problem when you get the hang of it.
-The second best place to smelt ores into bars would be at Neitiznot whereby the bank is close and you only need to left click the bank. However, this is best for those who does not have any varrock armour as wearing them while smelting will not be able to smelt 2 ores at once.
-If your making Addy platebodies, you can summon Pack Yak (96 summoning needed) or War Tortoise (67 Summoning needed) and store the bars in them.
-When the bars in inventory is about to used up, click Beast of Burden (Bob) and it will automatic continue to make Addy bars into Addy platebodies.
-If your using sc hammers, leave 3 of them in inventory and the rest are bars.

@donatshabani Yes, make sure to wear goldsmith guantlets to get more smithing xp, it is like 56 xp each with it
