Drakensang character creation and an early quest

so this vid gives you a basic idea of the game. There is a pretty high learning curve to it. Seems like a cool game so far, a little tough when you don't know what your doing though.
UPDATE; the more i play this game the more odd it is to me. The dice system seems needlessly too complex. I mean ive played dice roll based games before but this one takes it to the extreme, in other words you pretty much fail everything... kind of annoying...

Is this game worth buying? like how many hours of gameplay are there? and is it normal for your characters to miss an enemy like 8 times in a row or can that be fixed by putting points into accuracy or somthing? cause if I have to just stand there and watch myself miss I'd be bored. also how long does it take to lvl in this game? really long? most baldurs gate/neverwinter games take a while to lvl up but Im hoping u lvl faster in this game just cause there are so many attributes to mix and match

honestly I lost interest in the game pretty quickly. Like you said, you miss a lot, and fail a lot at tasks that require dice rolls (like bandaging)-- it just got so frustrating to m, that I didn't feel like playing it anymore.

It does seem to have a large world, lots of choices, and all that, but the gameplay to me just wasn't set up very well.

It seems that you missed two groupmembers. Some gigolo rouge and an bad tempered amazon. The game is group oriented. You play as team. Similar to the games baldurs gate or neverwinter nights. Alone you dont stand a chance in the later part of the game and you would miss tons of content and quests
