Well, I agree that it might take him sometime. In fact most people believe that James Carpenture will be the immediate playmaker. I do believe that with some work and a good coach (like coach Pendrey) he will turn into something. RDT

ok whatever i know people that have met him and played against him (as well as trent richardson) and they say hes not that special. he has the body size but doesnt know how to use it maybe saban will work his magic on him and make him good. idk but dont expect him to be as good as andre smith his first year

I wouldn't call 15 "pancake" blocks in an allstar game crap. He might be new to the position, but a little time with coach Pendrey, and he WILL be a star.

I wouldn't say "crap". But many people say that the JUCO transfer James Carpenter will be the starter. He's a Junior so I would prefer him to start.

Give Fluker a year to grasp everything and get some playing time against teams like FIU, North Texas, Chattanooga and maybe a couple of our SEC games. He'll be ready for 2010.
