john petrucci was influenced by george harrison since he is the one who created the backwards guitar which is why petrucci did the backwards guitar

Ha man, every since I heard he played a solo he had written backwards, I thought, wow, that's progressive. Now whenever I find a guitar tone with a minor third pitch shift and delay, I have to bust into this solo.
