Apple Mac Hacked in Two Minutes at CanSecWest

It took only 2 minutes for Charlie Miller to win 10,000 dollars. He was the first to hack one of the laptops at CanSecWest in Vancouver.

Yeah, but still nobody really gives a fuck about OSX and I believe they won't until it reaches atleast 30% (which probably will never happen). There were few trojans through (made only to stop crApple being so arrogant). Remember flashback? Its a proof that trojans for osx do more damage than windows ones, since users are basically only protected with unpopularity and they are not prepared. I find it amusing how crApple didn't allow oracle to patch, but instead decided to take 3 months to patch.

Lots of people want to but don't have the budget to afford a Mac. That's why they went to PC. Not hating on any OS here. I use Mac OS X and Windows.

For those rambling back and forth the reason windows has so much more viruses is due to the sheer amount of users why would someone waste there time altering code for mac when they can go for the low hanging fruit called windows. of course you could pop a linux box or mac too but the sheer fact that there are not enough of them to exploit them on a wide range so many don't try.

They don't for most part, but for all wrong reasons. THEY ARE NOT POPULAR ENOUGH FOR EXPLOITERS AND SOFTWARE COMPANIES TO GIVE A FUCK.

The only thing that protect mac users is the fact that its obsolete, so nobody cares to hack them. Nobody wants to steal your gallery of pictures or your homemade video. The platform itself has weakest security ever, but nobody needs to work on it, because its just not popular and hackers don't give a shit.

For PC. Because nobody wants to make a virus for mac, because it has such low marketshare.
