The UN and International Development. Part 1.

On June 6, 2009, Fred Tipson, Director of Washington Office of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP), together with the guest speaker Kenneth Wollack, President of the National Democratic Institute (NDI) and President of the US Committee for UNDP, made a presentation on Capitol Hill about the UN's involvement in international development issues.

The event was held within the frames of "This is the UN" seminar series designed to give the general public an overview of the different issues and agencies of the United Nations and an opportunity to meet and network with others working on international issues.
