@racermac1988 You are right, and it is an absolute crying shame. Each and every one of those 33 drivers, regardless of gender, race, or nationality, have all worked hard to make the 500, and everyone deserves even a moment in the spotlight. The coverage now is below subpar.

For next year's Indy 500, would you consider creating a Starting Field introduction video? It would be at least a small challenge to get the right footage, but like nadeau1064's starting grid's, it's cool to see vintage methods used in modern broadcasts!

Any idea what the name of that music is called? It's so fitting, it's epic!

ABC only wants to highlight specific drivers (Danica, Helio, Dixon, Rahal, and the little Andretti) rather than giving all of the drivers their due like Paul would do during these starting fields.

Betcha ABC won't even consider doing this kind of starting grid this year. They'll just have it scroll across the top of the screen (WTF?).
