I have to admit, when I first heard Fiery Furnaces, I didn't really like the way they sounded, but after giving them time, they really grew on me. The singer, Eleanor Friedberger (sp?), certainly has a different voice, but I feel it suits the group well and couldn't imagine anyone else in her place (which may be more apparent on some of their other music).

there´s somethiing very strange about the fiery´s sound... it´s sounds really odd at the beginning, but then you realize that, in its way, it works out well. I just think they have a very personal and unique style. I just love it.
