yeah, by ear. I listened to Sam Bush's cd. and my dad plays it on banjo so I would listen to him play it also.

I just saw this after seeing your brother on his banjo...you are equally as talented...I am amazed!! Excellent!!! One question tho..the end of this is a bit weird (to my ears anyway)..and sounded like a mistake ...I know in my mind that it wasn't by the way you played the rest of it...but....was it mistake or is that how it should be played??
