Luke and Laura || All This Time

As the 30th anniversary of L&L's wedding is approaching on November 16/17, I wanted to put together a video to celebrate them. I know I vid LL2 all the time, but my favorite soap couple is actually Luke and Laura. And no matter how many times the writers want to rewrite their history, I will always love them, which is another reason I wanted to do this vid. I am sick of GH giving me their revised version of L&L when I saw the magic and happiness of their relationship on my TV screen for years. Furthermore, the news that Genie has extended her contract with Y&R has left me sad at the thought that she may never return to GH.

Anyway, I can't believe it's taken me this long to vid my favorite couple, but I finally did it. I tried to incorporate L&L from every decade. And though I know there are tons of great L&L moments that I couldn't fit in (believe me, cutting down over 30 years into under 4 minutes is tough), I hope I captured at least some of your favorite moments.

Beautiful tribute. Is this all chronological, BTW? I like that it tells the story of Luke and Laura from beginning to end. I hate the revisionist history GH is trying to pull with LnL right now. Ridiculous.

@Nacha255 When I started the mvid, I wasn't planning on making a kind of time line the way I did, so 0:15-0:52 isn't exactly chronological. (Though now I wish I had made it so) But all the clips are from 1979-81. After that, I think everything else is pretty chronological. Basically, you see their wedding in 81, Laura's disappearance and return, L&L's departure in 84, their return in 93, their divorce in 01, their reunion and Laura's catatonia in 02, her return in 06, and her return in 08.

awesome!, well done. I started watching GH in the mid 70's (when I was in high school) and saw Luke and Laura from start to end, it was all that they say it was,These two were the reason most people tuned in every day. I use to hurry home from work to watch them, sometimes having to go back to work to finish my job : ) this was before you could record them. I stopped watching for many years after Laura left, just got back in to it last couple of years after she came back for that short time.

Luke and Laura will always be my most loved soap couple...they changed this entire genre forever. I personally hate what the writers have done to L&L. What a beautiful tribute this is to this most amazing couple. WOW....these were the GH glory days!
