No Tim's this year - the Orpheus Supertones are playing up at Wheatland Music Fest in Michigan when that party will be happening. Too bad. I'm sure there will be lots of good picking there. See you sooner rather than later, Billy!

That's Pete Peterson & I singing with Tim Woodbridge, with Bill on the banjo. Pete and I have toured in the UK twice now with the Orpheus Supertones, which consists of us, Walt Koken, and Clare Milliner. We played in Cornwall during both the 2005 and the 2007 tour. Walt and Clare usually play twin fiddles, Pete usually plays banjo, and I usually play guitar when we appear in the Orpheus Supertones configuration.

Thanks for setting me straight Kellie, I guess I never even thought of you and Pete when asked if any of us had been playing in the UK! This video has stood up pretty well. I'll have to get busy someday and post some more of that session. Are you coming to Tim's again this year?

Now I never thought of Pete and Kellie being overseas! Maybe they wuz? Anyway you can't belive what a banjo player sez! We had a picnic at Tim Woodbridges house in Granby Ct. and Pete & Kellie were in attendance. Could be some of the others were overseas too?? Maybe I'll try to get more of the songs uploaded someday.

We haven't played outside of Ct. but our mando player is a great fiddler too!

Thanks for the positive reinforcement. The mandolin players primary instrument is the fiddle. Some day I'll post some more. I thought the video captured the easy flowing mood of the music.
