(continue) So please, I urge you all to explore further on your own. Get deep into it and see what you'll find. Please, people. Don't just watch this and think you've been given all the answers. Approach it from a standpoint of purely intellectual curiosity, research it well, and ONLY then form your final opinion on the matter. Finally, I apologize from writing an essay, but I just had to react. Take care, everyone.

(continue) I could on like this forever. It is just unbelievable how many information in this film is a stretch, to say the least. And others, just plain old lies. I am honestly shocked. Oh, and if some of you are wondering about all the 'parallels' between Jesus and OTHER religions but Egyptian, well it's like this. If there are SO many problems with Jesus/Horus thing, which they focus on the most, just imagine what could be done with the other ones. Lol. Ridiculous, if you ask me.
-
(continue) Also, some of the supporters of this theory presented in the film like to say that all the links can be found in the Book of the Dead. That's like their main source. Well people, I urge everyone to find yourself a copy and read it for yourself. Just try and find the proof of their claims. Boy, will it be a boring ride. But do it, please.

(continue) He's ill, he's dying, Isis calls for help, Thoth comes and restored Horus to life. But not in resurrection terms. Horus was sick, Thoth HEALED him. He certainly didn't heal A CORPSE. Even this story comes from writings of someone called Metternich Stela and dates some 4 centuries before Christ. Oh yeah, and Horus was supposedly called 'the KRST'?? No, he wasn't! Nowhere mentioned. Besides, the krst means 'burial' in Egyptian. He also never walked on water of was to reign for 1000years

(continue) These are the titles: Great God, Chief of the Powers, Master of Heaven, Avenger of his Father. Voila. That's all. There is NO mention anywhere that Horus was dead for three days, then resurrected. As I said before, there is only one story that even speaks of Horus' death, and it's that crocodile story. Thrown in pieces into the water, brought back by a crocodile at the request of Isis. There is also a story where Horus is bitten by a scorpion...
-
(continue) There is also no document we can look at that shows Horus died by crucifixion. Actually, there is but ONE document that even talks of his death at all, and that's an unofficial story where he dies and his pieces are thrown in the water, than later pulled out by a crocodile. I mean, come on! Yet more lies: Horus was called the God's annointed son, the son of man, the messiah, the way, the truth, the light...Evidence however show only four titles, and they are completely different...
-
(continue) Also, it is said he raised his father from the dead. The connection is made between Osiris and Lazarus, or should I say El-Azarus ('El-Osiris'). Lol. No, he never did that. There's one version that says Osiris was resurrected, but it was before the birth of Horus. Horus never resurrected anyone. He also never held sermon on the mount as Jesus did. There is just NO evidence of that claim. Oh boy, and now the crucifixion part. Crucifixion DID NOT exist before somewhere around 600 B.C...

(continue) Her conclusion might be coming from Massey. He points to the mural of the Book of Hades where there are 12 reapers represented. But, Horus himself is nowhere to be found on that mural. Other than that there is no single thing that can link these 12 reapers to the 12 disciples thing. Yet, Acharya relies on Massey, and Zeitgeist on Acharya. Now, miracles...Yes, both performed miracles. Buuut, they were quite different. There is no document that shows that Horus cast out demons...
-
(continue) Acharya doesn't even give the source of that information anywhere. And this film takes her 'info' as the absolute fact. 12 disciples: Horus had 4 disciples, semi-gods, called Heru-Shemsu, and there's also indication that he had another 16 human followers called 'mesnui' or blacksmiths. Again, the 12 disciples thing comes from, you guessed it, Acharya. She fails to give evidence to her claim once again. But, Zeitgeist takes her word as A FACT!...

(continue) Now, the whole three visitors thing. The bible never indicates that there were exactly three wisemen, nor is there any document talking about the three deities at the birth of Horus. The baptism: It is NOWHERE mentioned that Horus was baptized! Please people, check it out! It is nothing but a lie. And the link Acharya made between John the Baptist and Anup is yet another fabrication. This Anup person is never mentioned in any story in Horus account...
@EastofForever can you tell me if the bible helped priests fuck boys in the ass? or if the bible helped Christians slaughter hundreds of thousands of people during the crusade? Or did the bible help the christian Adolf Hitler kill millions?
