@canadiandrummer54 that's a very traditional, and universally recognized technique.. doesn't hurt the congas if done correctly, other than a few minor scratches. Brazilians, Haitians, Africans, they all do this technique...

@canadiandrummer54 : That is another legit and oft-used way to for congueros to play them.
Will share this at my Women's Drum Circle this Sunday night 2/14. Thank you so much for spreading the word and the beat.
