CREATIVE ZEN PROBLEM

creative zen x fi . ive had this problem for a while now, screen will only come on if plugged into the pc, then it goes to the reloading screen and stops halfway through. it just keeps repeating this over and over again :(

i have spoken to zen and they keep sending me the same message, ( update your firmware ) Ive told them i cant to this because it doesnt load up far enough for my pc to reconise its even there.

does anyone have any ideas??

PLEASE HELP !!!!!!!

as I've remove the battery and now it doesn't show the rebuilding part..

this sucks, not it wont even turn on when i plug it in, it just keeps making noises :(

THat happend to me. I don't know if you already solve the problem, but this is what i did.

I open my zen and disconnect the battery. Then I connected again and it works :D

You can open it with and screwdriver. But be careful, the screws are really really small.

@megadethdan The noise is like a clik clik clik..? it could be the hard drive it's trying to read data. it happen's when the mother board is broken so the only solution is buy a new one. in ebay ther is one for $59.

If you plug the zen to the computer and starts blinking a blue light at the top just leave it for 2 hours conected, after that it will turn on.

I don't know if you already fix it but if you don't try this:

plug it in to the computer, hold the power switch for 30 seconds in the on position, then trigger the reset button whitout release the on position-.
