Do not talk to the police and do not provide ID unless you are required by law. In fact I'd suggest not bringing ID unless otherwise necessary when attending such an event.

Every citizen has the right to remain silent even if they are not under arrest. No person is required to carry ID unless they are in the act of driving in which case they must carry a state issued drivers license. No person should expect privacy in a public place. .. The police video tape citizens on traffic stops and we as citizens can video the actions of police in public places without it being a crime.
