Parts One-Five: There is overwhelming evidence that global warming is real and threatening all life on the planet. Tibet, the highest plateau of the world, is experiencing firsthand the effects of greenhouse gases. A region historically known for its subzero temperatures in winter is gradually heating up, resulting in the melting of glaciers in many areas of Tibet. Industry and also consumption are to blame—each individual must take responsibility to prevent further deterioration of the environment and begin to live in balance with nature.
