If you freeze the frame near 0:32 you'll see that Buddy doesn't use his nose at all, but instead he opens his mouth and uses his teeth. This dog was the original Buddy. He died of cancer soon after, so all the other films used different dogs.

lol i just watch this movie a few days ago. i love it. Air Bud 1 is the best. i dont know why they did other ones for...such as rugby or football something like that.

I remember when this first came out and my mum let me watch it. Long story short, she had to get rid of the movie because I kept jacking off to air bud making the game winning shot at the end and I have been mad ever since that day but now I own the whole collection of air bud movies so plenty of wacking to go around.
