After talking about his first experiences as a standup newcomer
Dave talks about getting booed off stage at the beginning of his career at the Apollo.

This is very methaporic stuff if I look at pick-up. When I got rejected by a Woman it felt horrible. But today, six months after I started with pick-up, those where the valuable moments that helped me the most!

I often read "Look for rejection, "Such die Körbe", and I could not believe how this would help!
Dear Jay in the past, I am sorry I did not believe. :-)

Don't believe that Failure is going to help you. It is ok! Just come back later and laugh. I did!

Just come back later and know that the times of your darkest fears and failures can imply the biggest triumph in your life!

I see a beautiful woman today and want to have a chat? Then I am curious, excited and fearless!

  • I like this part. As a former band performer, I can relate to this very much. After the first biggest failure, you will do far better next time. That is if you don't slump and forever give up of course.

  • "Just relax and do that shit"! spoken like a true grandmother!
