The first step in changing the oil in a car is to jack the car up in the air and put blocks underneath the tires. Take out the oil drain plug when changing a car's motor oil with help from a specialist in car restoration in this free video on car maintenance and auto repairs.

  • @gothatway09 $20-$25 doesn't seem like a lot, but it adds up. Changing your oil doesn't have to prove you to be any more of a man, it's just good to know how to do things in your everyday life, cheaper and more efficient.

  • I just wanted to learn how to do it. after sifting thru all the pur-O-lator bs stupidity i found this...good job bro, detailed and nice with the detes such as filling the oil filter and seeing that your going to have a lot of oil come out when you change the filter. im ready to rock.
