There is not much information available about this (one album?) band from California. It's sad, I love their sound; extremely power voiced vocals, strong guitars and thundering blues harp.
This is albums opening track, another from LP's two cover tracks. Wonderful version.

I hope owners of the rights want to see this as an honor to these artists, which it really is. And same goes to these random photos, which I have found from album covers and from net. Pictures are from all around North Carolina.

My hope is that everyone can just listen to this very fine band. Enjoy!
I dont know, if this album is still available, mine is an old vinyl album.

  • Thanks for sharing this. I have this song on an EP. Can enyone tell me more about the members in the band? Names, career etc. I love the sound of the singer and the rough guitarr. I love it!! THX

  • i have this album too. great stuff.

  • I used to own this album played it to death

  • i lived in SD from 62-91... remember these guys very well!!! they rocked!

  • I recall that some of the guys in Jamul went on to form a band called Soylstack. They used to play the bars around Dulzura and Jacumba near the border. I saw them rip out a hole in a Marshall at a biker rally one time. Bitchen solos and a bass that could fuse your collar bone.

  • Man, you've got Gold! This group used to play at Club Pleasure in National City (just south of San Diego). Sadly, the album didn't do them justice. They were much better live. Had the album but lost it in a house fire many moons ago. They were "discovered" by Gary Puckett of the Union Gap at the club in '69 and got a shot at making the album. Regretably, it only caught on in Boston for a while then was lost to obscurity. Don't lose it, it's special.
